With increasing numbers in our congregation and ministry, building a gymnasium on our premise will be a priority strategy. This will encourage the Markham community to benefit from the church and the programs it offers. The cost of this extension is $1.25M and construction of the gymnasium will begin in Spring 2017. To get to where we want, we need to raise a total of $660,000 by February 2017 as an initial investment to promote this second phase of our church project.

Support Us

In the past years, we have committed to providing various quality children summer camp programs to over a hundred families within the community. Unfortunately, we had to turn down a few campers this year due to our limited space to host our summer camp activities. With the drastic increase in the population in our community, we are devoted to promote a wide range of social services including a place for:

·     The youth to hang out and play any sport of their choice

·     Seniors to socialize and participate in wellness programs

·     To serve as a community center where educational, cultural and recreational activities are used to promote a healthy living and diversity.

Ultimately, our goals to introduce the gymnasium will help us reach out to the community by expressing the love of Jesus through socialization and holistic community outreach. These facilities available at the gymnasium will be FREE to the community and the Church body.

As mentioned, most of the programs are FREE and the church flourishes from donations and sponsorships from people in the community. Without your donations, our church will not grow and we cannot achieve these goals to help the community.

Programs

Our building is indeed a blessing from God. It has been our goal to use this building as an instrument to pass on God’s blessing to others in the community. We have continued to encourage God’s work by renting out our church for FREE so that many more people can benefit from it. Our community programs involve:

A.A Group, Toast Master, Tamil and Mandarin Churches, Children Summer Camp, Community education and training for Markham Stouffville Hospital and the City or Markham, Parenting and Marriage Courses, Workshops and Support Groups for families with children with special needs, Senior, Children and Youth Programs.

How to Help

As this project is to help the church support people in the community, this dream cannot be attained without the help and donations from the community. Our goal is to raise CAD$440,000 to commence the gym building project in Spring 2017.
The Estimated Total Project Budget is CAD$1.25M. We now need to raise the initial funds of CAD$66,000 by April 2017.
Pray that God will guide us seeing His mission & follow Him with faith through our 2nd phase building ministry.
