“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)
AWANA is a kid’s club meeting where they participate in games and activities that train their bodies, learn Bible verses and interact with spiritual truths that expands their minds. A kid’s ministry without fun is a ministry without kid; therefore, children prefer to come back for more at our AWANA ministry.
AWANA teaches children that God is real, He loves them, and that He expresses his love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Kids take delight in learning how God can help them in their daily lives. Basing lessons on the Bible, our teachers teach them how to cope with their many struggles by obeying God in their different realities and situations they face.
Since 1950, churches have used AWANA to extend God’s love to kids. It is a proven way for churches to impact their communities and train children for leaders. Hence, the goal of the AWANA ministry is to give young boys and girls the chance to know, love and serve God. Serving God is a great responsibility and while doing so, we believe having fun doing God’s work, makes it less of other people’s responsibility but our own.
At AWANA, our core values are Love, Respect, Leadership and Excellence. Throughout our meetings, we instill valuable lessons to better understand our service to God, people around us, our community and the world, as well as ourselves. These treasured values learnt help us through our daily lives.
